All baby stuff lay by's paid off? Check.
Delivery organised for tomorrow? Check.

Project "Nest" will commence tomorrow.

After tomorrow, I think I am all set in regard to baby stuff. Yesterday I thought I was a genius buying a bulk box of 108 newborn nappies. Part of me thought nappy buying at this point may be a little premature but I did it anyway ( Read more... )

I wouldn't buy any more of those though!! You might end up with one like Kyle. He used up exactly 2 1/3 bags of 24 newborn sized before he was too big for them. No joke. By his 2 week checkup he had gained over 2 pounds, so...careful with the wee size pre-buys, lmao. Cause you know...you're having a boy ;) and it might shoot up like him.

And yes, I was HIGHLY pissed off about that last 2/3 of a bag, cause he had sensitive skin and had to use the ones that were $8 per bag of 24, and I was like COULDN'T YOU WAIT TILL THE BAG WAS USED?!?!?

I dont know if our nappies are the same, but these ones are for babies up to 5kg (11 lb). I think I will buy one or two more of these boxes and thats it. At the moment I am more worried about the fact that the *cough* maternity pads I got only have TEN per packet. That will be good for about two freaking DAYS. Joy.

OO, that's MUCH larger than the newborn ones here. They're for like 8 pounds and under. Well, that's a lot more practical then, lol.
I wonder why they don't make the PADS in a box of 108, lmao.

For all I know, they do, but I'll be damned if I am going to endure "PRICE CHECK ON BULK PACK 108 MATERNITY PADS!" and then carry the box to the car :/
