Well, there's the fact that you don't have an RSS feed, so we have to manually check your blog... ;-)

Yah, well, back in my day, we didn't need an RSS feed. You kids today with your fancy livejournal accounts and your RSS feeds. Why, when I started my journal, we didn't need no fancy contraptions.

Heck, I didn't even imagine that anyone would ever ever ever want to read the drivel I was writing, let alone be notified every time I did it.

Nope. Staying stuck in my ways. That's me. Stuckity stuck stuck stuck. At least for now. So there.

Back in my day we did our electronic communication using a protocol known as sneakernet. We would all eject our floppy disks from their drives and walk our way over to the nearest computer convention.

In my day, we didn't even have the internet, we had to call someone up over the phone and listen to a recording of them speaking the HTML of their site, write it down as quickly as we could ('cause there was no rewind)and then enter it ourselves into NotePad! and then look at it in a browser. Since it took the computer so long to boot up, we sometimes just looked at the code and imagined for ourselves what it would look like

I happened to google for victorian boots and your blog came up, and I figured since we are at least vaguely acquainted through DCF I could ask you how you liked the boots you spoke of in this post Someone wants to get me a christmas present and I figured this would make a good one if they were comfortable.

ok now that I have sounded like a total goob... :) Whats your opinion of them?
