so my plans to go down to atlanta are pretty much scratched. my mom has 34,242 miles, and for me to fly when i want to, i need 40,000. i figured i could transfer miles from my dad's account to hers. no, that costs money. and if i bought the miles i needed, that would cost money too. and the whole freakin' point was for me to go down there for free

i'm sorry, hon. i know how much you were looking forward to going down and seeing toby. if you and her are flexible you should keep an eye on last minute web specials on delta.com. it might still cost you but they're super cheap - i keep looking every wednesday or thursday just for kicks and i've found flights from charleston to newark for $99.
