Austin City Limits.

Saturday- Jamie and I arrived there at like 1:15. We got a super good spot for Aqualung which was alright. Then we left a little before he ended to see part of Mike Doughty. Which was also alright. THEN! We walked over to Built To Spill. IT WAS PACKED! We tried to get up close but we couldnt see. So we disided to skip it and get a good seat for The Frames. SUCH A GOOD SHOW. Oh my god it was fucking terrific. I am totually buying their album and I got a shirt. Their just really funny and I think they put on one of the best shows at ACL. THEN we realized how packed Death Cab was and we listend to them for about 2 minutes then disided it was lame so we went and ate. Then we went to the Fiery Furnaces. Which I wasnt impressed at all with. I thought their music was alright but the show was nothng speical. Then we went to Jet which was JAMMED PACKED! We got a good spot though. They were good. Bloc Party is over-rated. I don't really like them. There not BAD but they are certainly nto good. Oasis. Was pretty good. We were so tired by that point that we just set up a blanket and chilled watching drunk people dance.
Sunday-Eisly...I like their style, I like how their all girls basicly, I like how their sisters, but I dont really like their music. We got bored. So we left and headed over to Rachel Yagamata. Because we were so early, we got her autograph! It was awesome she's really really really sweet. And we were front row to her show. Then we went over to Ausitn Hartly-Leonard. Blah. I think their cheesy to the x-treme. But I do think Harmoni's a good bass player. I just think Austin(the dude) is a little...John Mayor-ish. KAISER CHIEFS!!!!!! OH MY FUCKING LORD! SOOOOO EXCELLENT! Man that was a great show. They really kicked ass. They new hwo to rock the house and they were so fuckign great. Glorious is the word descibing the show. Ok well after that we headed over to Arcade FIre (so packed) we heard like 1 or 2 songs and disided to leave because we wanted a good seat for Franz Ferdinand. So we left got some Jamba Juice, went the SBC stage. Jason Mraz was still playing when we came. He's so stupid. So after him we kinda pushed are way throught the people and got an okay spot. We waited an hour for Franz Ferdinand came on. Thats how devoted I am. They played a good show. The banner was fantastic. Then after Franze Ferdinad we waited ANOTHER hour in our same spot for Coldplay to come on. Allie P. came and joined us and we rocked to the Coldplay. Their show was terrific. Such a beautiful moment for me when they played "Yellow" and those balloons came done with confety in them. I got some of that confety. I shall forever charis it. Allie was kind enough to be our mommie and like pull us out of the HUGE croud of people tryign to get out. She left to meet up with her family and I found my dad(He went off to see another band so Jamie and I were free of him for about 2 hours.)
So the top three bands that were the best (not in order) The Frames, Kaiser Cheifs, Coldplay. My dad was pretty cool. He got us good spots n' stuff. Plus he cracked some jokes every here and now that made Jamie and I laugh like crazy animals.
I saw: Zoey(blah), Bridget(bleh), Carl Mamula(YAY!), Karl, Allie Pope(you are excellent.), Taylor(So glad we got to hang out.)
Spent a mother load of money. Took 500 pictures. I shall post SOME later once I am fully awake.
