Mom update

So, it's two days after the surgery. Mom's gone from heavily sedated on morphine in ICU to much less sedated on morphine and sitting up in a chair. The surgery was expected to be about 2 hours and it turned into 4. A reasonably sized growth last week was a larger than expected tumor when they finally got it out. It was determined to be

I've been thinking of you. I had forgotten that it was happening yesterday until your Jeff reminded me.

I remember going through the hospital visits, the seeing mom so fragile - and I am with you, I am so with you. I hope my hugs are radiating across the many miles between us.
