Is a Lesbian a Virgin if She Never Had Sex With a Man?

Good question. A weighty one. You might be surprised by the answers.

What is virginity? Who defines it? Who came up with it?
Ho 'bout we start with the beginning?

She's a virgin to a man. I have always just figured that there's more than 1 type of virginity.

A virgin is defined as someone who has not had sexual intercourse and sexual intercourse is defined as penetration of the vagina with a penis, meaning opposite sex. But I think of virginity as meaning having sex with anyone, whether opposite sex or same sex.

Some people have better time with non-genital sex - It's just BETTER all-around for them. Others are the other way around... can't stand anything but that. The point is it's all part of the same "sexual" experience. I think those who have done everything in the book EXCEPT penetration and still think they're "a virgin in God's eyes" - well that's just playing with words. It's ridiculous. Clumsy three-second genital sex with no kissing makes you *less* of a virgin than a thousand side-splitting intense hand/blow jobs? I know it's an extreme example, but that it can be made at all speaks volumes.

And B has a point. If you want to define "virginity" as never having had sex with a man, or never having sex with someone you loved, then I ain't gonna stop you! Ultimately, people are going to use the term however suits them best. Thus the recent "re-virginized" trend.

Virginity for a lesbian is not going to involve a penis. Plain and simple. A lesbian's first sexual experience, whether there is penetration by something or not, is going to be her deflowering.
