What Am I Doing?

I dunno, I think I'm stuck on repeat. Tomorrow is D-Day, though, so I had better do some shopping and get lots of healthy food. My 10 days of eating healthy prior to detoxing and quitting smoking was utterly sabotaged by our last minute road trip to So.Cal. I ate at Denny's three times in the last two days. I swear quitting smoking is possible, though it's definitely the hardest thing I've ever done! I'd recommend using somekind of nicotene replacement and letting yourself have some kind of treat everyday...be it a pint of icecream, or an extra glass of wine. Just don't let yourself even TOUCH a cig.
Good luck! You can totally do this!

Thank you, sweetie! I'm just trying to eat as much healthy food as possible, get up and exercise every morning and chew Extra when I have a craving. I have some losenges for about a month down the line, if I start drinking again, when I know the temptation is there. Also, in all my trial runs (and attempted successes) I usually bungled about the 7th day, so it's there for that, too.
Thanks for your support! I heard you guys bought?? Whereabouts? Congratulations!!! =D

Honestly... Best way to go... cold turkey. I did it. You can too. Although, I can't help but agree with goldynkat. ice cream, and/or wine should do the trick. We should hang out next week and I'll be there for encouragement. I believe in you as well. You are stronger than tobacco.

Yeah, I'm not drinking for a month either. I'll try to think of a reward every day. Usually it's been getting to fall asleep; detoxing is exhausting, even with all the improvements! I'm also feeling pretty out of it from a lower respiratory infection that spread back into my sinuses and plugged my ears. I just wanna sleep for a week.
