During my family's traditional Fathers' Day lunch and a movie outing, the strangest thing happened to me: I was the recipient of a haunted soda. About half way through our lunch, I took a sip, and placed the glass back on the table. The glass then proceeded to slide down the table for several inches of its own free will. No one touched it, and I ( Read more... )

If only we had a video clip of it...Of course there was no way that you could have been prepared for something as random and spontaneous as a haunted soft drink.

If you can find the secret to get rid of teacher arms, please enlighten me. Lifting weights has given me massive biceps, but my tricep exercises have done almost nada. Maybe I should give yoga another try, but I really need help with the proper breathing....my attempts at that have failed miserably...damn deviated septum!

I think that the triceps are the hardest group of muscles to tone up. Once upon a time, I had mine in decent shape thanks to free weights. I'm hoping that the tricep dip machine at the gym can help.

And giving yoga another shot couldn't hurt. I often forget to breathe correctly, but I've still gotten some good results from all the upper body moves..well that and the fact that my instructor can be a wee bit sadistic at times.

Apparently Kurt tells me that our new apartment's patio door keeps being opened by people or things unknown...he is hoping we have a ghost. It would definitely add interest!

Where is your new place -- Manitowoc or Two Rivers? You'll have to send us your new address as soon as you get settled in so I can send you housewarming goodies!

I *so* need to investigate this glass of soda! Where there hot or cold spots around the glass? Were there feelings of dread or sadness? Hee hee hee. It would have been cool to have a video camera on it when it happened.
Oooh! Was it haunted Brussel Sprout soda? Because that gave off an otherworldly stench, now that I think about it. :)

I don't know if I'd consider brussel sprout soda to be otherworldly, so much as I think it might be the offical soft drink of Hell. ;-)

Hey, weren't we supposed to practice French together? Probably should get on that. I'm still unemployed and most often without a car, so whenever you want to mosey on up, feel free to do so.

Yeah, we did say we'd do that. I just didn't want to add one more thing on to your plate while you've been looking for a job, which is more important. However, since you ve got time, I'll bring the books I bought on up, and we'll parlez ensemble.
