Spot on with most of the post, but come on with Beth Ditto... have you seen other pictures of her? A quick google image search shows that it is one of the more flattering, conservatively acceptable pictures out there. It's not like she wears "flattering" clothes. But she also doesn't really cares.

Hey, there's a reason I said "one of" ;D David made the same point, so I guess maybe I am reading too much into it. But I was excessively livid.

It's not like there aren't other lesbian women out there that have commented on Katy Perry either :)
