Where do you stand on the two women who are accusing Julian Assange of rape?

I believe that, regardless of whether there is a political witchhunt against him or not, they are serious allegations and should be given proper hearing and trial. I don't know if he did it or not, and I don't care to conjecture, but our society and legal system are very good at silencing women who come forward about sexual assault, and it's scary and difficult to do so - particularly when alcohol and previous, consentual sexual encounters are involved. So, regardless of the motivation for the extra attention being paid to these allegations, I am glad to see them taken seriously. Mr. Assange should stand trial for the charges, and, if he is innocent, we must trust in the neutrality and wisdom of the justice system to see him acquitted.

It's true and only about 10 percent of the prison Population in Australia is female. a man and woman can commit exactly the same crime. the woman will undoubtedly get a lesser sentence... If any at all.

Also if police are called to a domestic dispute, regardless of who started the dispute. The male will most often be charged!

Women cry out for equality (and so they should) but NOT at the expense of men!!!
