I don't believe in feminism. It devalues men, and men's issues. I believe that if both genders are equal, such 'isms' are necessary. And I have seen most often that it is women that hold other women back. When Gillard stepped up, most men I knew were fully supportive, and thought it was good that we got another competent individual in charge (also cool to have a woman in charge)...whereas every woman I know (well, bar three iirc) really had it in for her evil conniving backstabby-womanly ways.
Also I notice that there's a significant amount of commentary (ie, Greer) that hack on the current generation of girls for undoing all the work of the 'bra-burning' generation of feminists. Just, you know, as a random poking of observations.

You still get some of the early radical feminists around, some of them are friends of mine too.
Re Greer and the last paragraph - yes. but changing generations will do that.
What do we know about a woman being trampled by a Prince's horse at Ascot, in a bid to get us the vote?
