Knitting Olympics and bits and bobs

Darn that Yarn Harlot! She has put out a challenge, the Knitting Olympics. The idea is that everyone that accepts the challenge will cast on during the opening ceremonies and be finished by the closing ceremonies just 16 days later. Not so bad right? I'm so sorry I'm late, I hope you had a fabulous day!!

If you can swatch before the official Knitting Olympic start date, I would think spinning your yarn before would be acceptable especially since you lose a day or two letting it dry. Unless of course knitting, finishing, and blocking a vest in two weeks is no challenge for you. I am really looking forward to seeing how it turns out :)

*snort* You have seriously underestimated my ability actually finish a project. I am the UFO queen. And, I rarely block unless it is lace, so I may let myself slide on that one. Roger has been so good to me (I got a very thoughtful b-day prezzie -- I'll post about as soon as I can). He *really* deserves this vest.
