Still Dyeing - Painted Yarn

Here is some of the yarn I have dyed recently using natural dyes. I ended up getting some Cormo yarn and some Cormo-Alpaca yarn. I have 4 of each of the colorways. It was expensive yarn, but it it is really wonderful and absolutely delicious. Both are from a family farm that grows, processes, and spins the wool. The yardage is about 1700 yards ( Read more... )

Wow, how amazing. I love the box sox. I friended you, hope that is ok. I am a hobby costumer, and going for my MAT in Art. This semester I am taking Fibers and Fabrics the end result is, I am in love with knitting and fiber. My aim is to learn to spin and also to natural dye. But first I must learn to knit well :)
