So today I thought I'd catch the Metro into DC and wander about a bit.  I got to the closest Metro station about 10:45 a.m., only to find all the parking lots and garages full.  I mean completely full.  Imagine the biggest BART parking lot you can think of - now triple it.  And every single space was taken, including the metered spots across the

Three times longer sounds like taking bus, bart, and bus again to someplace I go. It typically takes 30 min. by car.
