(no subject)
Haha, my week has been ridiculous, and by ridiculous I mean it wasn't but I'm gonna say it was anyway because it makes my life sound more exciting.
Anyway, I haven't posted in forever, so here's a run down of what's been going on in my life.
Had my appointment with my new psychiatrist a couple of weeks ago. We talked, he decided not to change my medication, since it's working, kinda. IDK. We'll see how this goes. He highly recommends going to see a therapist as well, and I think I should, only I'm stubborn and don't think I need it all that much. Also, I'm broke. I need to look into a therapist that maybe has a sliding scale payment or something.
I've been writing, a crap ton. I've gotten two chapters posted, and two mostly completely ones sitting in gDocs right now. It's a Young Justice story. I won't be posting it here at all. I created an account specificly for posting fic, it can be found at wordy_melon. This will probably be the only time I mention it here again. Or maybe not. I don't know. I'm just really, really excited that I'm writing again. I think it's good for me. I'm also determined to see this story through to it's conclusion. Wish me luck!
We've had lots of bad weather here. We had a storm a week or so ago that actually knocked a four hundred pound limb off the tree in my front yard. It narrowly avoided crashing through the picture window in the den. I stood there and watched it fall, even. It was kind of unnerving. We also lost a pretty sizey tree in the back yard. Which was, like, a foot from the patio deck and only didn't hit our house because it feel in the other direction. We got lucky with that too.
The earthquake! I totally felt it today (all the way down in Charlotte, North Carolina) but thought I was imagining things because really, an earthquake? I was kind of surprised, but I'm super glad that it wasn't as awful as the ones in other places around the world.
Doctor Who starts up again the 27th! I am way too psyched for this. Seriously. OMFG DOCTOR FUCKING WHO! I need to get my dad caught up on it so we can watch it together. I still can't believe it. The new season kind of snuck up on me. I thought it wouldn't start until september.
Speaking of september, lots of exciting things to look forward to then. The New 52 DC reboot, and My Little Pony airs it's new season on the 17th I believe, according to the boyfriend. Ummm, Yes? Totally excited.
