I cannot believe that Michael Jackson has passed away.  As a child of the 1980s, seeing his "Bad" music video is one of my first memories. Regardless of his recent scandals and eccentrices, you cannot deny the profound impact he had on the world, musically and culturally.  My thoughts and prayers are with his children, Prince I, Paris and Prince II

I totally agree with you about Michael Jackson (and Farrah, of course, but...). I have watched celebrities die right and left through my life but Michael Jackson was the first one to make me stop dead in my tracks and shock me speechless. 50 is SO young. And I mean... come on... it was Michael Jackson. He's our generation's Elvis, and now he's just... gone. Right before the tour, too.

Can you imagine how much those tour tickets are worth now for those who had them mailed instead of will call? Holy cow.
