Eeee, I LOVE that you included all three seasons of Mad Men in ascending order! Very well deserved. And basically all your other choices too - Pushing Daisies, BSG (omg watch the rest!), The Office season 2, Friday Night Lights season 1.

Oh, and no hate for including Dollhouse. ;) I don't think it's Whedon's best and it certainly does have its feminist issues, but your entry reminded me of everything I *did* love in season one. "Needs"! "Spy in the House of Love"! Whiskey!

Thank you! I have seen the first three seasons, I just like the last two more because I watched them while they were on television. And I've watched Gilmore Girls, I really liked it, but it's more of a bubblegum popcorn show than most on that list. Season 3 would probably make the top 25 seasons of tv :)

I love s3 of The Office too. And I didn't even mind Karen (shhhhh, don't tell bazcat89). I think I mainly love it because my favorite person ever, Andy, is there. Dear lord, I love him.

And Dollhouse. I want to watch that.

hahahah I know shhhhh HIDE THE KAREN LOVE FROM LIZ. SHE WILL ATTACK. I love Andy so much. when I was picking the pictures for season 3 I was like OMG MUST HAVE THE PICTURE OF ANDY FLOATING AWAY IN BEACH GAMES. 100% NECESSARY.

I like Dollhouse but a lot of people don't so go in with an open mind, but def watch it (after you watch Mad Men of course) :)

I've only seen series 1 once! Which is a cardinal sin, I know. It's my love for David Tennant. Every time I'm like "I sort of want to cry a bit...I'll watch Parting of the Ways/Bad Wolf," I rethink it and am like "OR I COULD JUST WATCH THE END OF DOOMSDAY. AND THEN NEW EARTH. AND THEN ALL OF SEASON 2."

Considering how much I disliked Andy in season 3, he's really grown on me. He brings the lulz.

I recommend an s1 rewatch because if you were like me and watched it the first time all eager for Ten to show up, you may not have noticed that s1 is actually really good. As much as I love season 2 for shipper flail and some of its better episodes, I think s1 has more consitently strong episodes. When I first loaded "Rose" and Christopher Eccleston appeared I was like EXCUSE U WHAT IS THISSSS but then by End of the World he was already so awesome I did not even care. I can never be properly sad in Parting of the Ways when he regenerates, but that episode IS really kickass.
