He will definitely be missed. His collections were so daring. Oh and I totally remember Kenley (she was kind of bitchy) on Project Runway and how her stuff was always been compared to McQueen.

Beautiful picspam! Lovely colouring. Fall 2008 was absolutely my favourite as well. McQueen's collections always have a beautiful combination of workmanship/detailing and a certain "over-the-top" sensibility and I think that collection had the best balance of those two things. Stunning. I did my own McQueen picspam (damn my full-time job preventing me from posting it right away!) and I picked many of the same collections.

I agree totally. I can't wait to see your picspam! I was surprised when I posted this that there was only one other McQueen picspam so far. His work is so beautiful, it just begged to be picspammed.
