The vision and the reality.

When I was little, somewhere between ages nine and thirteen, I had a vision of what my life would turn into. That vision wasn't like everyone else's. You know the one. You must be a brain damaged super-genius, because you don't strike me as even mildly retarded.

In fact, you're probably smarter than average, because you don't piss me off at all, and stupid people have a tendency to piss me off (one of my character flaws.)

You can certainly go to trade school. Community college is also worth a try.
