I wrote a diary for the Mass Observation Archive because mockduck said so, and because I like reading that kind of thing. I have a lovely book at home where lots of Danish children wrote about a day in their life in 1995 and got all excited about their budgies or the sweets they ate at their after-school club, and some of them went to school by ferry! I want to do one now! Although I had no idea (actually I may have had a vague idea a while ago but forgotten about it again) this was happening so I would have to RECALL. I might do it anyway!

You should! I kept a text file at work during the day, which is why it tails off a bit in the evening. I neglected such important events as Steve and Ewan ordering Disney burgers in the pub (they turned out to be burgers with cheese and bacon... er?), and Stephen Malkmus still being terribly handsome but looking like he wasn't really that keen on being back with Pavement, though the rest of the band were all smily.

Bah, I wish it'd been today instead - I am not hungover at all and my colleagues have been plotting a sausage-eating competition! Still, I suppose it was meant to be a normal day...
