Hello! I am back from ATP and I'm going to write about it RIGHT NOW before I forget to! It was quite the eventful weekend, so here are some highlights
( Read more... )
I liked her confused dancing to start with. She seemed to get into it eventually but at the start she was all 'argh, limbs move, argh'. We've all been there.
It is a festival in Butlins in Minehead. I go every year - different bands curate it, and this year Belle and Sebastian were in charge, so they played a great big set and chose lots of other bands to play. You should come if we all go again! atommickbrane needed a better DDR opponent than me!
Holly and I have been speculating for a little while as to what the new animal of the zeitgeist was (because Paperchase's current range of owl stationery is so awful that owls are probably over). We thought maybe deer, but perhaps elks are more likely as they have better antlers. And yet... panda hats! And panda handbags! All over the place!
I like a nice hat with proper ears but all this pom pom nonsense makes me annoyed. Also the idea of a cat/animal hat is to make you look like you have ears, not that you have skinned a cat and put it on your head. (There was a hat they kept selling at Expo which was like this and disturbed me. Nonono.)

Found my entry on it: May 23rd, 2004. 2004, gosh, was it that long ago that I went there?
I have also seen many people in Oxford with panda hats.
