Jings, I have not been feeling December so far; it's impossible to plan any social gatherings without them clashing with something else less interesting but more important, none of my Christmas shopping is GOOD ENOUGH and I definitely have a completely imaginary sore throat that signifies some dreadful winter malaise. But I had a nice weekend of ( Read more... )

AAaaaaaaaah it is amazing! Do you know a source? I just banged translate on her website and I'm not sure it helped (except for providing further entertainment)

She doesn't seem to have made it to Spotify, and her buy links take you to a store that's closed, but you can listen to her on Soundcloud on this page if you like. Or I can burn you a copy of my CD!

Oh yes please very much! I promise faithfully to make it up to her somehow. Maybe some imaginative fanmail.

Aw Jo! I hope your December improves from here on.

Your holiday sounds lovely though. Why did I think Sarah had been to Iceland before? Perhaps it's because I'm mixing up my Nordics.

Thank you! It's already started improving, perhaps because I got all the frantic and annoying things done in the first couple of weeks. I might even have time to go to a carol service this year after all!

Sarah and I went to Finland a few years ago, and that was just as good, but in the opposite direction.

I'd love to visit Iceland. I too can't get enough Christmas pudding! Hope you stay well and avoid going down with any lurgys for the festive season.

Ooh, good lichen! I am even more tempted by Iceland now.

I am currently looking at aurora in Animal Crossing.. Was it like that? :)

Oh, lovely Reykjavik, and Golden Circle. Did you go to the Blue Lagoon too (I'm sure you must have been before anyway)? That was possibly my favourite bit.

Going to Thingvellir at night to see aurorae sounds excellent, well done. But get off that ice immediately!

We were going to be too cool for school and go to the local swimming pool instead, but we ran out of time! Anyway, we have to go back in order to visit the north-west of Iceland where there is an Arctic Fox Centre and a Sea Monster Museum, so next time!
