I know my way around Photoshop, but I'm completely new to Imageready. I've seen this effect on a lot of animated icons, and I have no idea how to do it. Anybody know a good tutorial?

Okay, I've got a problem. I can stay logged in while my browser is at the subdomain www.livejournal.com. However, I get logged out when I'm at anything starting with miss-padfoot.livejournal.com. My friend polarkat ran across a fantastic and heartfelt letter originally written by a mother in Vermont to a local newspaper. The subject, basically, is homosexuality and how it is not a choice. It's very moving. polarkat posted it in her LJ and made it public so that I could link to it.

Well, I'm staying at deleterius. I need my daily dose of sporking. And besides, trivializing the swastika =/= trivializing the Nazis' crimes, I think. So that's that. I think I have the youngest-acting grandparents in the world. It's pretty cool, really. You see, it's my grandfather's birthday today. He's 73. He doesn't act like it at all.
