i LOVED writing tony. dealing with his story is tough because it is just so familiar, but i love making sense of a lot of things while i'm not necessarily writing about myself. and tony is just tony <3

dialogue is kind of the most important part to me when i write.

and i sorta want to write tony again, but i wouldn't know what setting to put him in.

can't believe am just reading this now, very terrible of me, I've been avoiding lj for a while.

back to the fic, bb this was absolutely awesome,when you talked about this fic you never mentioned the amazingness or the amount of feels that is packed into it,it hurts bb.

i never really knew squat about tony, but i feel like i do now, dudes been through a lot of crap but he's strong as fuck, if that shit didn't break him? i don't know what will.

i like the conversation between tony and ryan, i don't know why i feel like it really happened in Istanbul, like you have this bug on tony and you over heard this conversation. its so fucking realistic and natural that it fits. even with the events in mp's life and he's all over the place decisions irl, it all makes sense and seem to fit. :)

don't worry about it. i forget about lj pretty regularly and then i come back and there's all these new stories to catch up on.

i thought it was sort of a given that, when i write tony, it's gonna get emotional.

it still boggles my mind that a lot of people don't know tony when he's had one of the most amazing comeback-stories ever. i mean, he's been gone for 12 years and he's been through hell and back and now he's back in the pool.

i truly truly wish that conversation had happened. because i just really want them to become friends and hang out.

ALL THE FEELS. I don't know much about Tony, but you made me really love him here. He's such a great person to give Ryan perspective.

And a couple things I especially liked:

So maybe it’s the signs that make Anthony look a little closer when he sees Ryan arrive on the pooldeck in Istanbul. Maybe it’s the fact that suddenly he doesn’t seem so sociable anymore, that his face seems hardened by something that can’t be explained by cancelled flights. Ryan is an absolute professional at what he does, he knows when to get his head in the game. But he never holds back a smile. And even though he barely knows the guy, seeing his lips pressed in a tight line makes Tony see all the signs again and he almost hurts on his behalf.

Ryan's smiles . . . and suddenly them not being there. GUH.

Conor is pretty much glued to his side. Partly probably because being confronted with Matt makes him realise that he should have just made that move on Elizabeth when he had the chance

ICU, Conor/Elizabeth (even if it's one-sided)

I don't know much about Tony, but you made me really love him here.
this is just about the nicest thing to say, honestly.

when ryan was in istanbul, i just got hit by these thoughts of 'omg bb, why you so sad?' because he didn't really seem like himself anymore. so i hope he got to re-charge and relax and he's back to smiling ryan soon again.

haha yeah, i had to throw the conor/elizabeth thing in there.

i actually loved writing that part of ryan (i loved writing the whole story, tbh), how his approach is a bit different from everyone else.
