well drama is bound to erupt at some point and usually i am one to avoid this, as I feel everyone should have their own experience with what is being discussed as thats what I do. Just because I have heard some things about people on the internet or whatnot I do not let that inform my opinion of the person, I will meet them and form my own opinion

One of the thing that irritates me more than anything is people in a "proffessional" capacity that dont do their jobs properly, this applies to all aspects of my life. Michael Towers is one of these people- he was in charge of the set up yet had no plan of what needed doing, even when pressed he couldn't tell us, he didn't even have everything required to set up the technology they where using

I believe that 200+ complaints about illegal spamming and harrassment will over power less than 5 'internet-joke non-srs-bzns' threats of violence, credit card theft or phone calls. He has actually spammed, whilst non of the facebook group people have not actually done anything other than post some lolzy comments on a public website! That post on AL made me laugh, he gets a lot of sympathy from his drones who don't recognise the complaints on the facebook page. I seriously doubt anything that has been said by anyone on that facebook group (except maybe the "FAIL" T-shirts thing) will actually happen, because people are more sensible when they're away from the internet

I just ended up making this post cause the whole AL / towers stuff seems to be expanding again and before now i've just kept quiet about it but I thought I should put my dealings out there.

and yay! you're like the first person other then me who understands the phone thing... it still takes me ages to be able to talk to most people on the phone, i'm not so bad with friends but the thought terrifies me D: I have to work myself up to call strangers like for doctors appointments or anythin >_< which usually makes me seem insane cause i walk round before the call saying out loud what I need to say on the phone!

It's terrible isn't it? I have sometimes ignored my mobile phone ringing, even though it's just a mate, because I don't like using phones! I can quite easily talk face to face or by writing or online, but phones just seem too awful! I am surprised that I am the first person you've come across, I thought there more people like us out there!

I had a job in a call centre once, because I needed the money and couldn't afford to turn it down, it was like a living nightmare every day! ;____;

oh god mike towers... OTZ he contacted me about the first ALCL near the start of term, and seemed really excited about it. but when i actually went there, it really did seem like he had no control over the volunteers and they were really doing whatever they wanted, more or less.

wasn't gonna go to the next ALCL, but WOTA is there so...

my committee has more or less decided that ALCL is completely not worth it and will go eat dinner then head over to WOTA afterwards, coz we're loyal fans XD;;

it doesn't help that i know organisation/communication is bad between WOTA and AL as well...

Michael Towers have a very extensive history that I am personally very familiar with, portions of which include things such as paedophilia and date rape.

This is completely ignoring his narcissistic and obsessively demanding personality, which you have had to deal with directly it seems, and his completely delusions of grandeur and human perfection, which anyone who has even read so much of a paragraph of his journal on AL ( http://www.animeleague.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=100059 ) will be aware of.

If you need dirt on Michael Towers, I know no better individual than myself to provide it. Mike himself will likely blow a casket if you so much as drop a mention of my username (Words of Ivory) in his presence.

AL is a forum by kids, run by a man who likes kids.
