The little gray boy has been adopted. My friend's mom lost her kitty a few months ago and was intent on not getting a new kitty. This little guy had other plans for her. He sat in her lap and purred. She didn't even have a fighting chance. *grin*

Miss LBC and I embarked on a mission on Friday afternoon. This mission involved saving a tiny kitten in hopes of finding it a home before it became feral and never found a home. I'm planning a trip up to SF next month. I need to get out of LA for a few days and I think doing so just before the holiday will be quite nice. I have no clue where I'll be staying as of yet but I'll be there from the 19th-21st. If any of my LJ friends who life in SF would like to meet up, let me know. :)

Why do you have to taste so good when I cannot consume you? I am craving the sweet gooey taste you acquire as you become close to being over-ripe. Please tell my tummy that it is indeed ok to add you back into my diet.

My car died again on my way home from work yesterday. This had to have been one of the most frightening experiences of my life. I decided to take side streets to the 110 freeway, and thankfully I did. My car started chugging and slowly died in the middle of a busy street in rush hour traffic. The Vroom! Vroom! machine is now in movable condition but has ceased to tell me some important information, like how fast I'm going, if the temperature is hot or cold in the engine, if I have gas in the car. Ohhhh...the joys of car ownership. Looks as though I'll be taking the car back into the shop this weekend.
