Student teaching eats my life. Some days are great, some are average, and some are just days to be endured before the weekend. The students are fun, though--I like middle school age. Thanks! It's not been particularly fun this week, since we've been doing state standardized testing. The bright side is that since I am an elective teacher (band) I didn't have to administer any tests, just occasionally relieve other teachers if they needed to run errands or take a bathroom break. The not-so-bright side is that it's been three long, boring mornings in a row without regular classes. The afternoons have been just weird, because there's a different class schedule and the kids are all fried from taking tests. I am so glad to go back to normal classes tomorrow (especially since we have a concert next week and we need the rehearsal time!)
