*bows* Thank you. Very seriously because, frankly, you were at times the only person I was sure was actually reading this story on LJ.
And just between us, the epilogue was originally 3000 words and counting and looking like a chapter and I didn't want to distract from the ending of the story. Which I might have done anyway, but, well. I hated having a dangling plot thread. (I have the other 2400 words saved. But it's really too soon.)
Thank you hugely for continuing to share it on LJ--it's a much, well, safer reading experience for me. Once I'm in AO3, I find it almost impossible to extricate myself again. *shakes fist at archive tags*
I've been reading, too, I'm just not familiar enough with the comics & characters to have extensive, frequent comments (unlike my commentary on your SG:A fic.) I've loved how human you've made Steve: He's still someone worthy of all the respect (and near awe) that he gets, but as readers, we see him as a person with low points the same as everyone else.
I've also enjoyed your portrayal of everyone else. Tasha is marvelously complex, Fury has plans within plans, Barton unrepentantly goes to the mat for Tasha, Thor is to a certain extent above it all, and Tony is his alcoholic nearly-manic-depressive self. Well done!
Will you continue the Winter Soldier storyline, do you think? I've never seen the comics, although he's cropped up in Avengers fanfic enough that I have a general idea of who he was & is. (I don't know how he got from there to here, but I suspect Wikipedia would fix that.)
You have been reading and I am most appreciative especially because it's outside your bailiwick.
I would like to continue the Winter Soldier story -- that's actually what this one started out as, before I took a drastic right turn when they announced the movie -- but I need to decompress a little from this one.
Wikipedia would fix your Bucky knowledge gaps, but so would Brubaker's wonderful Captain America: the Winter Soldier trade paperback, which is entirely responsible for my love for the characters. (Bucky and Natasha are my OTP and, as you know, I don't really do that sort of thing.)
And damn, it was a hell of a ride. Hat's off to you, ma'am *offers roses *
I've been following you since I stumbled into the SGA fandom, and stayed for your characters. Wherever universe you go to, ma'am, you certainly don't disappoint. Thank you for sharing your imagination and mastery of words with us.

It's done! Yay! That was a very fun ride, and I look forward to re-reading it many times.
(*shrieks a little* Bucky!)

I'm dizzy, too. You all missed the stupefied ".... I'm done?" when Alicia said I was good to go. :)
