I like the composition idea, but not really the colors, I can't decided if she's dead, drowned, pale or what. but it's okay child breahe!

Yeah, I don't like the colors either. There should have been more blue in the top, and then the girl herself, ugh.

When this happens to me, my next piece is almost always one of my best, so theres a good thing to come from every mistake.
To be honest though from that photo i think it looks really nice, i know though that if the artists not happy with something no matter how many people tell them its great it never actually gets through to them..

Yeah, I'm trying to put a lot of detail into the painting I'm working on now, to redeem myself :P
Anyway, thanks. I think it could have ended up looking okay if I like, actually tried when I painted the dress part, but I was just really frustrated.

Thanks :) I was thinking of using this one to experiment with watercolor and chalk pastel on. My original plan was to put more blue with chalk pastel in the black part...and then I gave up haha.
