I like the innocence of the painting. Yeah! I think that one painting I did to work and someone told me I should talk to one of the ladies in the basement about putting my stuff somewhere. I don't know though, talked about putting it in the case at work to be on display for a month, but I don't know!!! besides, I doubt it'd happen, they probably have plans already made up for each month, plus I don't have too many great pieces. I need more photos lol.
Lol innocence isn't really my thing. I would give it a try if I were you, at least it's exposure. I remember when I was little me and my friend would spend afternoons in her mom's restaurant and I'd always look at all the art she had up and some of the pieces would be up for months. I have no idea if anyone would buy anything, and I want to check out what they have now to see what sorts of things to paint. A girl who used to go to my school sells her paintings there and she's made over $500 so I think it's worth a try!
i love that painting, its really well painted, the dress is great, and the background.
If i ever got good enough i don't know if i'd be able to sell anything :S i'd find it kinda hard to give my paintings away.. have you ever sold anything before??
Thanks :) I spent a while on the background, and then I got lazy when I painted the girl :P
I've never sold anything, but I give a lot of paintings away as gifts. I probably wouldn't sell any of my favorites, mostly because they aren't the type of thing to be selling in a touristy restaurant. I won't mind selling landscapes and flower paintings though.
