One great thing about Valentine's Day is the Spongebob V-day special! This particular part, shown in the video, is my favorite part EVER.

Plus, there seem to be some specials going on at the Disney station. So far they've played Toy Story and now they're playing Toy Story 2. Every time I watch this movie and Buzz says, "In just a few hours, you' ( Read more... )

Y'know, I don't even need any context: Patrick is so win in those five seconds. So. Win. (And I don't say that tremendously often about Patrick.)

I'm always mildly interested to hear about how Valentine's Day was treated in public elementary schools (seeing as I never went to one myself). I'm glad that your experience with it was good.

(Also, Mew with hearts mood theme FOR THE WIN.)

Yes, that is one of Patrick's crowning moments. The whole episode is win in my personal opinion.

I was private-schooled in the beginning years of elementary school, but then I moved to public. Sad, really, because even though they were only the beginning years, I learned more in private school than I did the remaining time in public. But V-Day was a wonderful time.

(Mew is so adorable, and it fit this layout perfectly. I couldn't help but use the heart one for V-day. x3)

Hmm. I should try tracking it down to watch in full.

May I ask what kind of private school?

(I kind of love that the most powerful Pokemon is also one of the most adorable.)

You've not seen the episode?! I must implore you to find it and watch it immediately! IMMEDIATELY.

It was a private charter school mainly funded by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but was open to even those not of that particular faith. Parents also helped to fund it. It was one of those schools where the teachers are so strict on your learning that they go after you for not holding your pencil correctly when writing. Because of this strictness on our education, I learned so much more than I ever did in any public school. I was top in my reading and writing subjects when I moved on to a public school--though this could just be because I was destined to be the writer/editor/ENGLISH FANATIC that I am today--and was very confused as to why some of my classmates were so..."behind" in this. One of my teachers was great, though. She realized that I was ahead of everyone when it came to writing and reading and would give me some of the work from the higher grade-levels to keep my mind active ( ... )
