I remember the time we played Truth or Dare in your room, your sophomore year I think? Must have been over J-term. I don't remember much aside from the fact that we made out, briefly. But then later you defended my honour to Marianne when she said I wasn't a good kisser, according to the ex. I was really touched and pleasantly surprised that I rated so highly. ;)

Now when I copy and paste, I hope to hear something back from you.

I would reply, but you didn't copy and paste. 10 out of 10 Aijas agree, you will always be a better kisser than Marianne. You could be unconscious and you would still kick her butt.

My favourite memory of you was that one time we were in New York together for Thanksgiving. Lizard and I were going to see Rent and we were at Cosi (eating the best corn chowder I've ever had--obviously good because I still remember it) and the girl spilled my sprite all over my lap. And you calmed me down, took me into the restroom, and exchanged jeans with me, all the while lamenting that our jeans fit each other. I loved those jeans, and I loved you for being so cool headed about every thing. I think my family was giving me a hard time about not being home and I was stressed by the enormity of the city and I just needed someone to help me and tell me not to be a spaz. That was you.

I'm sure there are a million other incidences where you prevented me from freaking out but that's the one I remember the most.

That soup did rock. Mmmm. Wish I had some now. Soda accidents, always traumatic.

It's hard to pick just one memory...Some of my fondest ones are chatting over mudslides and fries, listening to Hurt, drinking gin and tonics, sitting on Washburn steps in the middle of the cold winter night while you smoke a cigarette, and your warm, soothing hugs. I miss you.

I agree with Laina- it's hard to pick just one, you are a central part of so many of my fondest memories.

Some that spring to mind- walking home from the bar next the Calvin the night we celebrated your birthday. It had started snowing while we were drinking and everything was very quiet and white and I was happy.

the fourth of july barbecue and the bizarre truck ride home, drinking tequila on your patio...
hmmm. So many of my best memories are alcoholic. We will have to make more. (in less than THREE weeks!)

so many...

from our very ritualized all-nighters with matching laptops, fried eggs and grits and lattes at 2am, bonnie raitt, and cigarette breaks...

to the weekend sophomore year that meg chilton came to visit and you kept me holed up in your room watching dvds so i didn't have to deal with the trauma..

to, umm, butch bunny. :)

seems i had a feeling you'd be popping over to NYC soon...please call me, i'd really love to see you.

xoxo,
TP
