Mirror, mirror on the wall...

Ofcourse I could be mad enough to shell out €53,- to buy THE must-have of this spring in make-up, but instead, I got creative/smart by looking up all the colours of the palet. Then I delved into my huge collection and fished out all similar colours ( Read more... )

Hey, good on you! Congrats!

Ooh, and those colours are darling! I was just thinking about pink and green colour schemes the other day. Having looked at the Lancome page, I'm now inspired to set those off with chocolate.

Squee! I have the colours for my spring wardrobe! *does a little dance*

I use old mascaras sometimes - I use them so infrequently it's not worth it to buy new ones. They're clumpy, but aside from that they seem okay. They're not harmful are they?

yay! I'm glad it inspired you. :)

Clumpy mascara should be tossed in the garbage immediately; bacteria are festering and just waiting to cause an eye-infection. A maximum of six MONTHS only should apply for mascara. I know, not a long time, but better safe than sorry.

Hey Lisette! I have really old make-up too. I never throw out eyeshadow or blush--or lipstick. I never save mascara but I generally use it up before it goes bad. I love the Spring colors. Congrats on having them already. *goes off to check my make-up drawer* Yes, I have an entire bathroom drawer (a deep one) filled with make-up. No, I do not look like Tammy Faye Baker. I really need to dig out my Spring clothes.

*TACKLEHUGGLES*

lol Tammy

I love how some people have so much room that they actually have to dig out their clothes, like you mentioned. I envision a big walk-in closet, just like in the movies/on TV.

I do have a walk in closet actually. It's not big but I have quite a bit of hanging space. This year I am determined to force myself to get rid of clothes that I don't/didn't wear. How much clothing does one person need? I actually have 10 large bins of clothes for Spring/Summer & Fall/Winter that I have to switch around twice a year. We really only have 2 seasons here (clothes-wise). I'll just keep telling myself that someone else needs these clothes.
