Things on my mind.

Sometimes one needs a survey to discover how one became who (s)he is. By retrospect I found out how freaking important the influence of upbringing, enviroment, movies and opinions of popstars is.

Other stuff that was on my mind today:
the woman who was suspected of pushing her boyfriend off the Martini-tower here in Groningen, is aquitted. ( ( Read more... )

when i first read about the seal hunters, i immediately thought: "that's what they get." but at the same time, i don't want them to die, either. why can't we just leave nature alone?!

No, they don't have to dieeeeeeeeeeeeee... It would just be nice if they couldn't catch any more seals this season. *crosses fingers*

*sigh*
You're right. But it would be wicked if nature "won" for just one year.

*reads survey and laughs hysterically*

I don't want the seal hunters to die either. I do hope that the living crap is scared out of them though--and that they can't catch anymore seals--like you said. In America, there is a movement to boycott all Canadian fish products in protest. The fishermen's income is actually fishing. They don't make that much with the seal hunt. It's something that they do outside of fishing season. Boycotting all Canadian fish would definitely get their attention--at least in the US anyway. We buy quite a bit of their fish. Does your country buy Canadian fish?

You get the giggles from masturbation? ^_^

I have no idea whether there is Canadian fish imported here; I only eat fish twice a year... It isn't an issue here either, because there is hardly any media-attention for it. Focus here is more on abused dancing bears in Turkey, if TV even does an item on animals.

No, just surveys about it. *looks innocent*

I don't eat much fish either. It would be nice if more countries would boycott Canadian fish. I don't know how many Americans are boycotting Canadian fish. I happen to receive newsletters from animal welfare organizations. Many Americans probably don't even know about the boycott.

Abused dancing bears, huh? Hmmmm, I haven't heard anything about that. Poor bears...
