This was really touching, made me a bit teary-eyed at times. Loved the bits of Cuddy's POV.

I remember reading chapter one when it was newly written - I enjoyed it, but it didn't leave as deep a print as this will. My only gripe is that they began to reconnect after House had his own accident, it was almost too convenient a device. That said, it makes sense that Wilson's more used to giving care than being cared for, and that helped him find the natural rhythm of their relationship. Thank you for sharing the love and revisiting this story.
