Rules: Pick your 5 favorite TV shows, in no particular order and answer the following questions.
1. Fringe
2. NCIS
3. Leverage
4. Burn Notice
5. Lie To Me
Who’s your favorite character in 2?
It's so hard to choose! I think I adore Abby, and Gibbs, and Ziva most, probably. They're just all so amusing and lovely. It's one of the few shows I've never had a problem with in any way, and I love all of the characters. I think I'll have to say Abby, though. She's just so cute, even if she is a total stereotype.
Who’s your least favorite character in 1?
I don't have one. I seriously love every single character. Nina isn't very likeable at first, but I've grown kind of fond of her cryptic role in everything.
What’s your favorite episode of 4?
Anything that relies heavily on Fiona and how badass she is. I thought 3.15 Good Intentions was a great episode. I adored Gilroy and his evil, stylish ways and Fiona's part in the episode was great. I can't remember which episode it was, but another favorite had Fiona helping a woman who turned out to be the real criminal. The case was interesting, but mostly I loved learning more about how Michael and Fiona work together.
What’s your favorite season of 5?
I think I liked several episodes in Season 2, but I thought that Season 1 had a more consistent tone.
What’s your favorite ship in 3?
Oh, dear. I'll be boring and say Hardison/Parker. I don't care that much, though. They're all so brilliant, and as long as they're happy, I'm satisfied.
Who is your anti-ship in 2?
Any of the slash ships. Tony and McGee don't respect each other, and Tony would frustrate Gibbs beyond belief. Any of the other m/m ships are also just ridiculous.
How long have you watched 1?
Just a year or so. I started watching just as season 1 ended, and I watched all of season 1 in just a couple weeks.
How did you become interested in 3?
One of my sister's friends told me about it, then my sister made me watch an episode. She didn't end up liking it much, but I was hooked.
Who’s your favorite actor in 4?
Jeffrey Donovan. That man is brilliant. I think that his performance is consistently spectacular, not to mention how freaking good he looks in a suit. I'm not all that attracted to him or the character, but I'm totally obsessed with Michael's wardrobe. It's impeccable.
Which show do you prefer? 1, 2, or 5?
Definitely Fringe. I've seen every episode, and it's so intense. With NCIS, I love it, but there's so much of it, and I'm not in any hurry to go back and watch every episode I might have missed. Lie To Me is a great show, but I'm just not as invested in it as I am in the others.
Which show have you seen more episodes of; 1 or 3?
Probably Leverage, just because I've seen pretty much the whole thing at least twice. Leverage has fewer episodes, I think, but I've seen them more times.
If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?
As much fun as it would be to be Sam with all of his sleazy awesomeness, I think I'd prefer to be Fiona. She's so hot, she's fierce, and she could totally kick anyone's ass. What's not to love?
How would you kill off your favorite character in 1?
Well, it already happened. Charlie was my favorite character. As much as I'm depressed that he's gone, I thought they handled it well. The story was interesting, twisty, and heartbreaking all at the same time. *sigh*
Give a random quote from 1.
Walter - Nonsense. Purple never goes out of style.
Would a 3/4 crossover work?
Absolutely. They could join up to work on some case. They pretty much have the same moral philosophy, which is if the end result is positive, doing whatever the hell needs to be done to get there is totally cool. Sam would hit on Sophia, Parker would hate the whole thing, Hardison would be intimidated by Michael and the fact that they're pretty much equally gorgeous in suits, and Eliot would totally try to steal Fiona, who would in return physically harm him. And Nate and Michael would have authority issues. It would be amazing.
Pair two characters in 1 that would make an unlikely, but strangely okay couple.
Olivia and Astrid. They would be so perfect for each other! It would be so cute. And Astrid would finally get more screen time. *sigh*
Has 5 inspired you in any way?
Definitely. It's inspired me to be more analytical (like I need that), and to understand the physical manifestations of human behavior. I already loved analyzing moviations and actions, but it shows the importance of the physical. It's fascinating.
Overall, which show has a better cast? 3 or 5?
Well, overall, I think I'll have to say Leverage. Every single actor just fits their character pefectly, and they work together very well. Tim and Kelli are incredible in Lie to Me, and the woman who plays Ria is pretty good, but I just can't like Loker no matter how hard I try, and I think that might have something to do with how the actor plays him.
Which has better theme music, 2 or 4?
NCIS. At one point I had their theme song as my ringtone. :)
