Wicket

Nov 26, 2009 13:09

Wicket went missing on Saturday 21st November from the New North Road area of Islington. I am so upset and feel so frustrated that there isn't more I am able to do to find him.

We've flyered the neighbourhood, put posters up, alerted the local vets and Animal Search UK and been out every night looking/calling for him.

I miss him so much :(

I had a poke about your old place but no sign. I'll check back when I have lunch breaks free (must not get arrested)

Has someone moved into your old house? If so it might be worth letting them know that wicket might turn up.

Someone's certainly bought it, but I don't know if they've moved in.

Both my housemates work at the RSPCA Harmsworth, and you're probably within their catchment area - I'll ask them if they've had any cats brought in over the last few days that match his description.

My housemate is going to check through their wards, and says if you haven't already, it's worth calling 03001234999 in case a collection officer has picked him up.

I hope you find him.

He is chipped; presumably they'd scan any animals they picked up?

Oh, yes, you're quite right. She's had a check just in case, and they don't have any cats that match his description at the moment, I'm sorry :(

Apologies if this seems obvious, but on my understanding that you moved house recently, have you looked/flyered around your previous address? He may have gone 'home'.

I really hope you find him.

Paul's been back there twice already - no sign. Our old neighbours also know him very well and would contact us if they saw him back there.

I was just about to say this re: Wapping, too. I assume you have/will, etc - I hope he's hiding in a bush round there.

I'm so sorry to hear this and hope you find him again very soon.

Haven't flyered, but our old neighbours know him of old and would call us if he showed up back there.

So sorry to hear that. The other place who might be worth a call are Battersea; I don't know if they are tied in to the Animal Search UK database or not, but they have their own lost cats/dogs service.

I'll keep everything crossed for you
