Footprints in the Sand [5/?]

Orihime felt strangely empty as she flipped through the pages of her notebook, opening it to a blank page. The pain she had been expecting hadn’t settled in yet, and it all seemed so surreal that it was, most likely, the last time she would see her apartment again.

Yay update!
I loved that you acknowledged this scene.
It's one of my absolute favorite moments in the manga (even though I don't ship ichigo/orihime in the slightest).
I just wrote an five lives of orihime au, and I was just thinking about it when I saw this.

ooo a 5 lifetimes fic? That sounds interesting :) I actually did still ship IchiHime when this scene occurred, and it became my favorite scene. Now that I ship UlquiHime, it still remains an important part of Orihime's development and still one of my favorite scenes in the manga. Thanks for reading!<3

Of course!
Haha, it's funny because I don't technically hardcore 'ship' anything. There are just certain ships that really don't appeal to me. My AU is Ulqui/hime centered, about what if she was refering to loving (and failing to be with) ulqui in each of her past lives and how she had made the descion to try one more time.
it's weird, but it was really awesome to write, i'm just waiting on my beta to finish with it.

I definitely look forward to seeing it then! Strange coincidence because I had a plot bunny recently over much of the same thing, a 5 lifetimes fic where Orihime and Ulquiorra met throughout time but never really got it together. I only finished one lifetime of it though and put it away to work on this fic instead. Maybe after this one is done I will get it out and work on it more, because I think those types of fics are really interesting.

♥~

You write Orihime so beautifully; you manage to capture all of her strengths and insecurities, rather than just focusing on one or the other like some writers do. This was very good! =)

@_@ <----- just got dizzy by how good this is! i think i've said it before, but i'll say it again, i love how you interpret the scenes without any dialogue and make all these thoughts fit in perfectly, i will be waiting for the next part. i always look forward to reading these, thank you for making my day =)
