Orihime felt strangely empty as she flipped through the pages of her notebook, opening it to a blank page. The pain she had been expecting hadn’t settled in yet, and it all seemed so surreal that it was, most likely, the last time she would see her apartment again.

I loved that you acknowledged this scene.
It's one of my absolute favorite moments in the manga (even though I don't ship ichigo/orihime in the slightest).
I just wrote an five lives of orihime au, and I was just thinking about it when I saw this.

Haha, it's funny because I don't technically hardcore 'ship' anything. There are just certain ships that really don't appeal to me. My AU is Ulqui/hime centered, about what if she was refering to loving (and failing to be with) ulqui in each of her past lives and how she had made the descion to try one more time.
it's weird, but it was really awesome to write, i'm just waiting on my beta to finish with it.

You write Orihime so beautifully; you manage to capture all of her strengths and insecurities, rather than just focusing on one or the other like some writers do. This was very good! =)
