Well, I may be overly-sensitive to the fact that the show has drawn-out Clark's maturation over so many seasons that he seems like a self-centered imbecile where peeps can't see him being Supes, by the end. I dunno, the msg of the icon, to me, was an acknowledgment of that fact - so, yeah, maybe from Tommy's POV. Gawd, he must hate the bs he has to say and do, sometimes!

Such as, "Oh, Lex got the artifact that controls me so I'm just going to go over to the farm and feed the animals and wait for trouble to find me." yeh

So, to me it was a funny, ironic, bittersweet ouch!! :0}

Seeing as that she made it way back in either S4 or 5 I can say that it wasn't made to be a mean jab at Clark.
