I don't get why people whine about fan club members getting better seats. I had this argument with lots of people when pearl jam were here and I had awesome tickets. Its like, I like this band enough to pay them money every year so you BET YOUR ASS I want better seats.

IKR! I think it actually works better - the last time Jovi there weren't any fan club tickets and thus the front row seats wound up being bought by scalpers and were on ebay for over $2000. Ths time they're only selling them as part of packages for paid fan club members, so at least actual fans will get those seats now!

just fyi, I would never pay more than $100 for a concert ticket, but thats only coz the bands I listen to are generally priced anywhere from $20 to $60. for example, last night I saw 3 of my favourite bands for $22 ^-^ but, I go to gigs frequently, which adds up, whereas perhaps people who go to the big stadium shows only go to 1 or 2 shows a year.

WOOOOOO! I'm so glad you got tickets girl! To be honest, if it was a smaller venue I would have been fine with Silver too, but it's a a 50,000 seat football stadium they're playing here lmao. I didn't want to have to use binoculars!

BTW, did you hear they've already added a second Sydney show? I just checked the tickets for the Melbourne show and besides the VIP packages there don't appear to be any left, so I wouldn't be surprised if they snuck in a second one here too at this rate haha.
