Worry no more, citizens, I am back and here to stay, definitely.

Having attended several events hosted by you, I have been made aware that no one else really knows how to throw a good party apart from yours truly. Having said that, before there were Blair's parties, there were Serena's. And you will be fortunate enough to be going to one soon. ( Read more... )

No, I haven't left, not since the Victrola ordeal. I just haven't been around.

The same things that make any place okay, I'd say. People can adapt to almost anything.

I know I wouldn't be able to adapt to Brooklyn.

What's wrong with Brooklyn?

I'm surprised you even asked, but I suppose you wouldn't know.

Out of curiosity, what happened to your previous assistant?

What do you need assistants for?

Doing the menial tasks.

Like overseeing the decorations, picking up laundry, going to caterers for tastings, picking up the flowers, doing whatever I tell them to do. Very exciting job, obviously.

I am glad to hear there are more public balls planned for the future. I look forward to attending.

For now, it is novelty that keeps me interested, despite the ticking and all the rest.

Hello then, newcomer, you've come at just the right time. July 14th, mark your calendar.

This feels like a vacation then?

I certainly shall. A J Raffles, miss, a pleasure to meet you.

Funny you should say that, I was on a vacation before I arrived here, it was my ship sinking into the Mediterranean that I am glad to have escaped.
