Exploding eggs and fishnet stockings.

Somehow, I managed to blow up two eggs in two days.  Yesterday I tried boiling an egg for  lunch...but forgot about it when I started reading the papers.  I only remembered the fire was still on when I smelled something burning and rushed to the kitchen to see that all the water had boiled away.  And then! When I took the lid away from the saucepan

The only things I have that are fishnet are a couple of fishnet shirts.

*laughs* I, too, own fishnets. They're like this cupboard essential. For some people they stay at the back of the wardrobe forever; for others... well, they're not usually in there.

And I believe if you put said egg into a bowlful of water in the microwave it might work better. Or crack the eggshell/poke hole through shell?

However, don't try it unless you're absolutely sure you want to spend another hour or so scouring the kitchen for bits of yolk :D.
