The bad news:  I got rejected by Cambridge.

The good news #1:  I got an offer from my second choice, which is the only good uni to offer Islamic Law as an option in a qualifying Law degree.  And I reaaaally want to study Islamic Law.  The fact that it produces the second/third highest earning undergraduates in the UK doesn't hurt either.  *is a

Congratulations on getting your second choice! Islamic Law, or Shariah is really interesting.I've learnt the basics since I was little ^_^, but in no way am I qualified to become a lawyer in the field. What makes you interested to study it?

And YAY for doing well on your piano exam...I have one coming up in a couple weeks that I will definitely not be getting high distinction on. More like FAIL seeing as I am woefully unprepared. Ah well, I'm stopping after this anyway.

I'm sure you won't be too sad for long. It sucks not getting into the school you originally wanted to get into, but in some cases it's just meant to be, and you'll end up adoring your second choice much more. I know I did. XD You are full of win. ♥
