have you found goth clubs there much different from those in North America?
I've been to goth clubs in London, Berlin and Leipzig and they all seemed pretty much the same as here, but even smaller and quieter than the ones in say Toronto or New York. Looks like you've stumbled on some good ones! dance for me! ;)
I remember going dancing in Madrid too; the clubs are PACKED. They seriously do party til dawn. Two other things I remember are the way they serve your drinks... if you ask for a screwdriver, they don't prepare it for you. Instead, you get a glass half full of vodka, then the can of OJ to make it yourself. And then there's no food open after 2:00am or so, because it's illegal. Instead, there are private vendors secretly selling food on the streets. I remember getting food from a Chinese lady who was making it out of her home and selling it on the corner, LOL.
I was drinking vodka tonic and kept having to drink 2/3 of the bottle of tonic because the glass was so full of vodka.
They are packed and the people are really into the music and the scene. It´s not a huge meat market for weekend warriors... which seems to be the mixture at the places I have been to in the states.
Tonight I am going to some artist´s bar, that being a hangout for artists...where is my beret? jk.
