Feh. As the new girl here, I got nominated to be the department 'elf'.

This means I'm coordinating the departmental entry for the cake-decorating conest (delegated- thank goodness!) AND coordinating the donations for the city's yearly adopt-a-family thing.

Which means I have to convince grumpy antisocial IS people (and in that category I include myself) to contribute.
