Well, I don't wanna sound sappy and stuff, but I know I've had the same sort of insecurities before. And yeah, there's always the attitude (we joke about it a lot) that guys only enter in any kind of relationship for action and whatnot, and the whole of contemporary society pretty much says that if you're not supermodel grade, you're nothing. I don't know if it's like that for everyone or just me and you, but I definitely feel it every day. It's good to want to improve yourself, but it's bad when you start hating yourself for not measuring up to other people's standards. I'm probably just rehashing stuff you've heard from inspirational speakers anyway, but I think, as cliche and corny as it sometimes is, it's true. I believe strongly that you personally give worth to what you encounter in life. So it's no use trying to make yourself worth something to others if you're not worth anything to yourself.
