Nope, they take the picture and we get something in the mail in a couple of weeks. California DMV is a little behind the times. In efficiency and service.
I love sweet wines. Rieslings and Muscatos are now my favorites. And the winery we visited also had a Rose that was just incredible. Sadly their wine is not for sale in stores or restaurants, though you can mail order: www.vsattui.com I highly recommend their Off Dry Riesling, as well as the Muscato and Gamay Rouge if you ever feel like splurging!
Wow, I figured California would be much more with it than us hicks here in Indiana! LOL
I love sweet wines too. Have you ever tried Mead? A while back I visited Oliver Winery, (which is located right here in Indiana, how about that?!) and bought a case of their Camelot Mead. It's quite cheap and very yummy. :)
Hmm, I'm going to have to weigh my options on that winery! Not only is their wine very decently priced, but their shipping is really very cheap! I haven't tried mead before and seeing as we seem to have some similar wine tastes I'm going to go with your recommendation!
I love this line: "And with the inevitable truth that Monday is around the corner..." You crack me up:) Try as I might to pretend otherwise, it is indeed Monday.
You were a busy girl this weekend. Yay for new shelving and power tools. Good to be independent, isn't it?
I've seen Castle once and loved it too. Good chemistry between the leads and a nice prime time show to get excited about (I say quietly for fear it will be canceled)
Damn right! Even though it was kind of a pain to put together I was very proud of myself for assembling the new DVD case by myself. Castle is really good! Keep watching it! Though I know exactly what you mean. I worry that it will get cancelled, along with my other favorite show, Chuck. The TV Gods are so unfair sometimes.
As soon as I say I like something - it gets cancelled. Men in Trees, Moonlight. History. So I take it back, I don't like this show (just in case the network execs are reading LJ).
Oooo, that's a new and interesting tactic. Maybe I should give it a try. Reverse psychology. Maybe it'll work the other way for shows I wish would get canceled. Let me try: I LOVE reality television. They should just have reality TV and nothing else on the air! It's just so entertaining and . . . and REAL!
In truth though, doesn't it make you wonder what is up with us that we gravitate towards those shows that seem doomed to fail before they are given a chance? Thankfully there are some exceptions but it by far seems to go the other way more often than not.

OMG, I LOVE Muscato wine. Ever since I discovered it, I hardly drink anything else. :D
