Its a big coincedence you messaged me on that day; you will see why soon. I am in a place called Penshurst, a small village, not at all far from Tunbridge Wells. By my comment, I meant that anyone who does not struggle with self-discipline - that is, trying to overcome their impulses and temptations - is a boring twat. It was a facetious remark, because I think that if I think about it, anyone who does not struggle by self-discipline, by this definition, is actually just a psychopath. What did you think I meant by learning self-discipline? It is a caprice, I would say, but not a whim; its very premeditated. It will make me more productive and responsible. That is something I am ready to be, for a little while. I shall still continue to take many long walks, however. :) You must not call clothes worn by a male a dress. Or you will give him gender issues when he grows up. What is the last Lynch movie called? I don't think I've seen it.
Yes, you are right, I meant caprice, but dictionary gave me both of them, so I also wrote whim. For what concerns self discipline, I agree partially. If those impulses and temptations come from desires then I think there is a strong necessity of fighting for them to be lived. On the other side if they come from voluptuosness then I agree about the necessity of self disciplines. Desire in western culture is what primes the fuse of creativity and many other fundamental things. You know I am a very reserved guy, I will never mention them here:) The last movie of Lynch is Inland Empire, but in my opinion it is not a movie, it is a sort of installation, a performance of three hours. It is visually beautiful. But again it is not a movie. What is wrong in being a psychopath:)?
