I LOVE LOVE LOVE a drum line. We have the people around here that play 'drums' on the bottoms of those huge plastic bins and it annoys the crap out of a lot of people. I LOVE IT (a lot of them are really good actually), it stirs my soul.

I do love music, but it's generally music that I have some other attachment to (something I've played, sung, heard all my life) and occasionally a newer song catches my ear, and it's usually something other people don't like. (I won't even TELL you what type of crap is on my iPod).

I also oddly find myself, when listening to music with a violin or a cello, doing the bow motions (not the actual note fingering, just the bow...it's oddly soothing). Okay now that you all want to medicate me, I'll get back to my fun Saturday of data entry :D

We should do an "Odd Things on My iPod" exchange on OS!

I love street performers for so many reason, but I am always drawn to the drummers. I've also always wanted to go to one of those bars where it's all paint and drums and blacklights. :P

I get it. I mainly own cds of music that I've performed, too. Have you ever listened to anything by Sweet Honey in the Rock? They're quite amazing and their rhythm is fantastic.
