I've been crafting right along lately. Behind the cut are some of the items I've been working on.
For Valentine's Day, my daughter and I decided to attempt to make duct tape roses. I didn't get a pic of hers before she sent it to her boyfriend, but here's a couple of pictures of mine:
They were fun and interesting to make. Amazing that duct tape comes in so many colors these days. There's a tutorial for it somewhere on
Craftster.org.
In my crocheting, over the past month or so, I've been working on some baby hats to donate to the local hospital. I've been playing around with different patterns and yarns, trying to find something that is quick and easy as well as very cute. Here's what I've come up with so far:
My favorites so far are the blue and pink ones. I'm hoping to start donating at least ten of these different hats a month.
Last night and today, I worked on these doilies for my mom. I made two just alike, and I'm debating on making a set of four but haven't made up my mind yet.
I got the pattern in the book "Wishes & Wonders" that I purchased from Annie's Attic. It worked up quick and easy, and I think the ending result is very pretty. I'll see my mom in April and will give them to her then. I'm also working on a couple of other things for her.
